robotics

Course overview

This program will introduce students on how to design, build and program robots. We use the award winning Lego EV3/NXT core and expansion set. The students will learn and be able to build and program robots that will carry out various functions like; lifting, object detection, color identification and sorting, spying and monitoring etc.

The target aim of this program include;

  •  To make the participating children creatively use the Lego kit to build and program complex robotic models that will act as a prototype to solving real life challenges
  •  To build leadership and teamwork skills needed for them to excel in their chosen career path
  • For students to know and understand the role robotics will have in our society and thus be equipped with the necessary skills for them not be left out in this amazing field.
  • To be fully prepared to compete favorably with their peers in robotics competitions such as the annual First Lego league (FLL) and First Tech Challenge (FTC).

This course come packed with four different grade categories and two major sections, the in-class and online session. Kindly find more details on these below.
